Patrick understands that for many litigants the court system is costly, difficult to understand, and stressful. He prides himself on being able to provide straight advice in language you can understand. He always endeavours to provide the solution his clients want, whether that is to enforce your rights vigorously in court, or to work things out in the most efficient way possible.
Patrick graduated from Auckland University with a BA.LLB (Honours) degree in 1992. He completed a Masters in Commercial Law with first class honours in 2002 and was the top graduate from the University of Auckland's MComLaw programme in that year.
Prior to becoming a barrister in 2005, he was a commercial lawyer with an Auckland firm of solicitors.
He has published and presented numerous articles and seminars in his areas of expertise, serves on the Civil Litigation Committee of the Auckland District Law Society and is a past member of its Law and Technology and Employment Law committees.
